How to write in examination copy ? |
Most of us never think before examination about how to write in
examination copy. Do we need to prepare ourself before examination so that we
can represent in more attractive way ? afterall this is golden opportunity
to represent what we have prepared throughout the year. Our way of writing will
carry our image. We all know good handwriting is advantage, everybody likes
neatly written examination copy to see. If you practiced well for good
handwriting you can surely impress examiner.
Change paragraph, give proper space between words
and between lines, use proper punctuation.
The question with which you are most comfortable
and confident to answer attain first. All hesitation wiped off while writing and
it gives you enough motivation. Your unique answer creates good impression in
examiners mind.
First read the instructions
printed in question paper, for example in CBSE Std XII Mathematics examination
following instructions mentioned .
Candidates must write the code on the title page
of the answer-book.
1. Please check that the question paper contains
12 printed pages.
2. Code number given on the right hand
side of the question paper should be written on the title page of the answer-book by the candidate.
3. Please check that this question paper contains
26 questions.
4. Please write down the Serial Number of the
question before attempting it.
5.15 minute time has been allotted to read this question
paper. The question paper will be distributed at 10.15 a.m to 10.30 a.m, the
students will read the question paper only and will not write any answer on the
answer-book during this period.
In most of the examination student
should not leave any personal details. We need to write our registration number
or school/board/university provided Roll number. Let's write registration
number accurately.
In your exam copy only left margin is present. I
preferred to draw 1 inch to 1.5 inch right margin. In case of mathematics you
can make the right mergin width more and give a heading rough work.
While writing you may write wrong words/sentences
which you want to strike off or erase, since you are using ball pen erasing is
ruled out hence you have to be artistically correct it. Most of us make
corrections in exam paper in such a way it becomes the focus point of examiner,
the moment examinar turns of page eye first gets focussed on correction, is it
good? no not at all. So correct word in such a way unless examiner comes to this
word it should not attract unnecessary attention.
Finish answering questions well before time so
that you can revise the answer you have written and do minor correct wherever
required.
While attempting science questions, use figures
and formula to explain. It saves times and communicates better.
You need to solve previous 10 years questions and
be aware
about question pattern. You can have command on how much time you need to spend in
answering questions based on the marks allocated.
Sometimes becuase of change in syllabus or boards decision to conduct
examination in different way, previous years pattern not followed. Even mock
test paper pattern may not be supportive enough but these are exceptional cases,
and in general exception can not be treated as rule.
If your question paper has instruction about number of pages and number of
questions printed in question paper,check your question paper throughly for all
pages & questions present as per the instruction given.
For theory paper you must practice well in writing
mock test, this helps to understand your strengths and weakness.
